“ I always get the shrimp mulitas from here & an agua fresca... the perfect lunch! Just be sure to get there before the lunch rush lol ”
“ Food was delicious. Had the 2-asada taco special, beans with a drink. Owner put lots of meat inside both tacos and fresh homemade salsa. Gave me a small cup of his fish soup for free. Oh my god. Was awesome and tasted very fresh. I asked for another cup and give him a $5.00 tip for his delicious food and service. Thx you sir ”
“ SO DELICIOUS !! Been looking for a good Mexican food place close to home and I have found it ! Definitely will be back. ”
“ although the menu does not seamlessly appealing the food is well served.Lunch time is the busiest time to,so plan to go before of after. The ladies make sure to make you feel like it's mexican food with the loud calling for orders haha. Over all this was a 10/10 experience ”
“ I stopped by for a quick snack. I really didn't know what I wanted until I had this. I was surprised how delicious it was. I ordered the Friday special, 1 shrimp and 1 fish taco. It was 3:15 PM, but the shrimp and fish were both piping hot when I ate my taco. The chipotle dressing with all the cabbage and Pico is just how I like it. The shrimps were especially juicy and plump, cooked perfectly. I tried it with the red and green salsa. Both were delicious and not too spicy. There was an orange habanero one for people who want more heat. The tortilla chips, onions, and pepper were all included and added at the end when they ask you how much sauce to put on the tacos. This was a very scrumptious surprise, and I'm glad I stopped by. I think I found a new fish taco place! ”
“ the guru finds himself in Santa Fe Springs today looking for grub. I had this place on my list for quite a while so today I finally went in and ordered some tacos. This is a small take out place in a small food court. There is only enough seating because most people order take out, but I would suggest you stick around. More on that later. I also got their "super fries" to try that. They have a "super nachos" and a "super fries". basically just everything you can think of that goes on tacos they also put on the fries. They put so much on it it's total overkill. It would have been fine with about 2/3 of what they put on it. I highly recommend their carne asada tacos. they are freshly made with good corn tortillas and served with some freshly made tortilla chips and grilled onions and a fried pepper. Adding some grilled onions on the side is a nice touch. It also has fresh cilantro and fresh onions. On top of all that you can easily stand there and watch their lovely abuelita grill the carne asada and the onions and work the fryer for the chips and pepper. All the staff are so nice and friendly it's like hanging out in a Mexican home. They also got fresh guacamole and fresh salsa and you can have as much salsa as you want. if you're sold already than stop reading the rest of this and just order tacos. now for the rest of the menu. they have a quesadilla, enchiladas, torta and not much else. I really wish they had a grilled fish option but not on their current menu. So many people walk in asking for fish tacos baja style, which is really gringo style with the fried fish and the white sauce. I would strongly discourage you to order that. There are plenty of other places in the area that serve the same thing. Also I found it really odd that the amount of attention they put into their tacos and meat option they seem to not do for their rice and beans. They're very bland and don't seem to be freshly made. Don't order the rice and beans and I would recommend to the owner that they stop serving it altogether and instead just provide more of their wonderful tortilla chips. So I do call on the wonderful people of Santa Fe Springs to have some tacos here and say hello to everyone there for me. Just don't order the rice and beans. ”
